Baker, and being the last major town to resupply before entering into “The American Alps”, North Cascades National Park.
During the spring to fall seasons, Concrete is filled with high traffic of people who are camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, or who take State Route 20 on their way to Winthrop, Okanogan, Wenatchee, or simply traveling the Cascade Loop. Motorcyclists consider State Route 20 as Washington’s #1 scenic motorcycle drive.
